MARAROA TO SAIL TO-NIGHT

The ferry steamer Mararoa, arrived at Lyttelton at 10.20 a.m. yesterday, alter battling against a "strong south wind from Wellington to Lyttelton Heads. The vessel went into dock eary this morning to undergo cleaning and painting, in addition to several minor repairs. The work on the vessel will be completed this evening, and she will come out of dock at (i.30 Brut will leave for the north on the arrival of the 7.50 train from Chrislchurch.
