A social gathering of I ho parishioners of All Saints Anglican Chinch was held In the Parish Room, Sumner, on Wednesday evening, when there was a large attendance. The lady member* of the Sumner Red Cross Committee assisted at the Red Cross shop in Cathedral Square last night and this morning. A large supply of home ma.de <•;:'■•• es and other delicacies was provided, and good business was reported, despite the'unfavourable iveather last evening. It is anticipated that Ihe takings will be at least £4O.
