WEDDING.
The wedding was celebrated on Thursday, at the Linwood Methodist Church, of Mr Walter Reynolds, a returned soldier, (ddest son of Mrs Poore, Richmond, and Miss Mary Rebecca Ward, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ward, of Ohoka. "The bride was given away by her father, and wore a. pretty gown of ivory silk trimmed with shadow lace and pearls, completed with tli<> usual veil and wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a beau. ti Inl shower bouquet, the gift of the bridesmaids.
Misses LiJy and Myrtle Poore and Miss Beatrice Ward were bridesmaids, while Miss Connie Booth aided as flower girl. The first-named wore a dainty pale pink frock and black picture hat relieved with pink. The remaining two bridesmaids wore white frocks and blackhats touched with pink, and all carried pink bouquets. The flower girl was in white silk, and carried a basket, of pink and white [lowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr G. 11. P. Poore as best man, and .Mr C. Ward as groomsman. After the wedding an adjournment was made to the Rollestoii Street Hall, where the bride and bridegroom received congratulations from a host of friends. They left later for the North island for a short holiday.
