Radoslavoff incurred unpopularity owing to his failure to stem German influence and the highhandedness of the Germans in refusing the Bulgarians the Dobrudja until Adrianople was returned to Turkey. Bado-I slavoff's resignation to Bulgarian discontent owing to the disappointing j results of the war, and the food shortage, due to the Austro-German requisitions, and Tin-key's territorial demands.
