WAR IN THE AIR.
BRITISH ACTIVITY. (Reuter) LONDON, June 18. The Admiralty reports:—Our aeroplanes from June 13 to June l(i dropjped 24 tons of bombs with good results on Zeebrugge. Ostend, and the docks at Bruges; also on the railway junction and aerodromes at Thourout, Ghistelles, and Aertrycke. Hits were observed on the first four objeclives, and a lire was started at Ostend. We also bombed enemy vessels and anti-aircraft guns at Bruges. ZEEBRUGGE CLOSED. (A. & X.Z.) AMSTERDAM, .Tune 19. Two British aviators, Beade and (ioward, were bombing Zeebrugge when their motor failed. The oil tank leaked, but they managed to reach Holland, and were interned. They stale that Zeebrugge is completely blocked. The Germans work night and day to clear a passage, but the British nightly demolish the work done. The Germans are afraid to blow up the cement-lilled ships lest they also blow up the sluices. No submarines can enter or leave Zeebrugge. The blockade at Ostend is not completed, hut is giving the Germans the greatest trouble.
