IRISH PROPAGANDA IN AUSTRALIA.

DIVISION OF REPUBLICAN BROTHERHOOD FORMED, (Bee. Juno 20, 10.55 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Jiuie 20. Mi l Watt announced that it had recently come to the, knowledge of the Government that an Australian division of the Irish Republican Brotherhood had been formed here, with the object of establishing an Irish Republic, independent of Britain. Part of the plan was to enrol volunteers, who would he dispatched to America and thence to Ireland, to aid an armed revolt. The organisation in America was in touch with Germany, and money for hostile purposes was remitted from Australia. Members of this Brotherhood had in certain eases been active forces in the Irish National Association, which was used as a cloak without the knowledge of the bulk of the members of that association. The Government had determined to take decisive measures, and arrested seven of the ringleaders, who were interned. A public inquiry is to be held. FURTHER ARRESTS OF SUSPECTS. (Ree June 20, 10.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, Jime 20. Three members of the Irish National Association have been arrested by the military and interned. Their homes were raided and papers seized.
