RUGBY FOOTBALL.

SATURDAY'S MATCHES. The matches set down for decision at the Show ('.rounds on Saturday will be Old Roys v» Linwood, and Marists v. Christchurch. The meeting of the two former I teams earlier in the season provided a most exciting game, Old Roys winning by the narrow margin of two points. Since then both teams have been considerably strengthened, and Saturday's game should be well worth seeing, more especially as Linwood and Old Roys are now equal in points for the championship. The Marists-Christcliurch game should also be very interesting. Christchurch have improved immensely since the commencement of the season, and judging Iry their recent performances they should give Marists a good contest. Rugby enthusiasts arc reminded that there are only three more Saturdays to finish the senior round, and those witnessing the : matches on these last three days should be rewarded by some first-class football.
