WEDDING.

A .wedding of considerable interest was celebrated in St. Paul's Presbyterian 'Church this morning, the Eev. J. Paterson being the officiating clergyman. The bridegroom, was Private N. H. Proctor, of Christchureh, and the bride Miss .Jean Redpath, third daughter of Mr J. A. Redpath, Papanui Road. The bride was accompanied by her sister, Miss May Redpath, as maid of honour, and Mr W. S. McGibbon acted as best man. The bride was charmingly attired in an ivory-tinted silk, hand-embroidered, and, worn with a becoming white hat. She carried a bouquet of choice white flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss May Redpath, was in rose-pink crepe de chine, smart black hat ornamented with white osprey, and bouquet of chrysanthemums in harmonious tones. After the ceremony a large party of friends was entertained at a wedding breakfast at Broadway's, in honour of the event. Mrs Redpath (mother of the bride) wore a handsome gown of black satin, grey ostrich feather boa, and black plumed hat. A dainty wedding breakfast was served in a room set apart for the occasion, during which the; usual toasts were enthusiastically honoured. The tables were beautifully decorated with white chrysanthemums, white lilies, and roses. Amongst the guests were Mrs J. A. Russell (sister of the bride), Rev. •T. Paterson, Mr and Airs Day Redpath, Mr and Mrs Jack Redpath, Mr and Mrs Alf. Nichols, Mr and Mrs Percy Nichols, Mr and Mrs E. Smith, Mr and Mrs T. Reese, Mr and Mrs J. Haig, Mrs Kennedy (Wellington), j\lr Sexton (Auckland), Mr and Mrs F. Redpath, Mr and Mrs West, Mr and Mrs Ormandy, and very many others. Subsequently Private and Mrs Proctor left for their wedding trip, the bride travelling in a mole crepe de chine dress, completed with squirrel coat and a crepe de chine hat.
