May 29, 10.5) PAKIS, May 28. ! * Sergeant Paixscailles, was sentenced to one year's imprisonment, and Captain Mathieti to three months'. The witnesses included M. Briand and several ex-Ministers. [The cout't-niartial of Captain Mathieu, formerly General Sun-ail's orderly olllcer at Salonica, and Sergeant Pai.xscailles, on a charge of divulging confidential documents, was conducted in camera. The prosecution stated that the documents, which were handed to the "Bonnet Rouge," contained General Sarrail's plans. Information regarding the situation of the French army and the number of its effectives.
