A number of Cadets and Territorials appeared in the Magistrate's Court this afternoon before Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S.M., charged with failing to attend drill, and with failing to register. For not attending parades the following were dealt with:—Frederick Savage, 30/- and costs; Henry Eichard Savage, 40/- and costs. For failing to register the following fines were imposed: — Stanley Baker, 10/-; Douglas Colville, 10/-; John William Ewing, 10/-; William Charles King, 10/-; Arthur John Knight, 10/-; Eobert Francis Lawrence, 10/- and costs; C. L. Lloyd, 10/-; James Nicholson, 10/-; Percy Saudford, convicted and discharged; Eichard Clarence Sibly, 10/-; H. J. White, convicted and discharged; Jack Taylor, convicted and discharged; Thomas Baden Howly, 40/-; Stanley Nichol Maffey, 40/- and costs. Arthur James Thompson, charged with failing to attend for medical examination for admission to the Territorial Force, was fined 5/-.
