CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS.

REVISED ARRANGEMENTS. The champion of champion doubles competition will he proceeded with on Saturday at noon, on the United green, when the following will meet:—Canterbury v. New Brighton, Kaiapoi v. Bangiora, Linwood v. Papanui, St. Albans v. Sydenham, Opawa v. United. Sumner, Ashburton, and Lyttclton will play at 2.30 p.m.

The Maddisou single-handed competition will be played on Thursday next, March 21, on the Christchurch green, commencing at noon, when four games will be played. The draw has made it impossible to commence next Saturday, as intended. The final will be played at a time to be arranged. The following will play in the first round: —Akaroa (Rev. Hayward) v. St. Albans (R. J. Thompson), Methvcn (F. \V. Anderson) v. United (J. Brackenridgc). Byes have been drawn by the following, who will play at 1.30 p.m.:—Ashburton (J. I). Tcmpleton) v. Sumner (H. Barlow), Kaiapoi (R. Wylic) v. Linwood (R. Howarth), Lyttelton (E. H. Henderson) v. Edgeware (H. West), Sydenham (\Y. Calvert) v. Kaiapoi Working Men's Club (J. Brown), Opawa (K. \V. Taylor) v. New Brighton (D. E. Jones), Papanui <E. Smith) v. Christchurch (W. H. Macdougall), Canterbury (R. 11. Borland) v. Rangiora (\V. Efford). The semi-finals and final of the rinks will be played on Saturday week. SYDENHAM CLUB. The following will represent Sydenham on Saturday:— Against KaiapW Working Men's Club, at Kaiapoi—Robson, Peek, Earrant, Hollis (s.) ; Laws, Copplcston, Allison, J.
