NX TROTTING ASSOCIATION. MONTHLY BOARD MEETING. The usual monthly meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Association was held this afternoon. There were present: Messrs P. Selig (chairman), H. W. Kitchinghara. H. F. Nicoli, J. H. Williams, R. W. Short. W. Hopkins, J. Samson, C. F. Mark, and W. Denton. The New South Wales Trotting Club notified that it had endorsed the penalty inflicted on J. J. Cotter by the N.Z. Trotting Association. For failing to notify the association of the sale of a horse, S. Darragh was fined £2, Further correspondence was read from the South Wairarapa Trotting Club regarding the times credited to Desert Gold and Hal Junr. at its last meeting. It was decided to inform the club that the original time for the race must have been correct, and would stand. Also that the club be requested to find out at whose instigation the original time had been changed. J. McLennan wrote, protesting against the fine inflicted on him by the N.Z. Metropolitan Trotting Club.—lf was resolved to send the letter and a previous one on to the club. Further correspondence was read regarding the registration of the horse Polar Star. This was not of a conclusive nature, and it was decided to write the secretary of the Alexandra Racing Club for further information. (Proceeding.)
