REFUSES DUTY IN CAMP. TO BE COURT-MARTIALLED, Press Association. WELLINGTON. March 12. Mr P. C. Webb, M.P. for Grey, who is in camp, refuses to (ion uniform. He will be court-martiallcd in clue course. In a letter to Sir James Allen, before going into camp, Mr Webb announced bis intention of disobeying orders and taking the consequences. Webb, M.P., who has refused to perform military service after his arrival in camp as a member of the 39th Reinforcement, will be treated precisely the same as other objectors. He does not profess to be a conscientious or religious objector. . . „ t.. , He refuses to join the other Lust Division men in the trenches on the ground that his first duty is not to the nation, but to the people who sent him to Parliament.
