LINCOLN FLOWER SHOW.

A SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION.

There was a very large attendance yesterday at the annual flower show at Lincoln, which was organised to raise funds lor the local Bed Cross Committee and also to assist the school lands. The show was an excellent one in every respect, the outstanding features being the vegetable section, which was the best ever seen at Lincoln, and the display of sweet peas. There were numerous stalls, in addition to the show proper, and all did excellent business. The Hon. C. A. C. Hardy, M.L.C., performed . the opening ceremony, and congratulated the organisers on their display. Prominent among the exhibits were displays, for exhibition only, made by Mis Crockett, Mr A. ii. Lowe, of Otahuna, and Mr P. Rousham, of YVuihora Park. The lion. C. A. C. Hardy kindly presented a special silver cup for the winner of the most points in the show, which was won by Mrs ('■.
