Negotiations for the purchase of the New Zealand output are still incomplete. It is understood that the Government has agreed to pay !IJd for the New Zealand output of cheese, 9d for Aus trulia's first grade, and B}d Tor the second grade. Wheat.—There were small sales of Aus tralian. ex quay, at 81/fi to 82/3. Flour is in brisk demand. The Governinent is releasing fair quantities of Canadian »nd American. No Australian flour is offering. Oats are quiet and firm. Brans are in good demand and firm. Peas are hardening. Apples.—New Zealand, 130/- to 140/-. Sugar is unchanged. Tallow.—Small quantities afloat sold at from 71'3 to 71 9. Stocks 1213 casks, ini ports WW casks, deliveries 2034 casks. Metalls.—Copper. £llO 5/-; electrolytic, £123 Tin.—Spot £250 12/fi. forward £250 J7/G. •Lead.—Spot £3O 10/-. forward £29 10/-. Spelter.—Spot £34. forward £SO. Silver, 45id per ounce. Shares.— Wnihi Junction, 17,9 to 18/9; Talisman, 12 fi to 15/-.
