THE FUTILE AIR RAID. SMALL CASUALTIES. LONDON, November 1. Ollicial: The total casualties in all districts in last night's air raid were eight killed and twenty-throe wounded. The materia! damage done' was of the slightest. No naval or military or munitions establishments were damaged. All our machines are safe. DROWNED IN A BARRELL. WELLINGTON, November 2. During the absence of her husband at the railway station, Mrs Henry Gorric, of SJimgaroa, while endeavouring to get water out of a barrel only partly filled, overblanced herself, and was drowned.
