THE ABATTOIRS.
MR KYLE RESIGNS. - Mr H. S. Kyle, who for the past 1H years has been Government inspector and City Council manager of the Christchurch Abattoirs, has definitely resigned his position. In conversation with a Su.v representative yesterday, Mr Kyle stated his intention of retiring from the Government service and commencing private practice in Ghristchurch as a veterinary surgeon. It. is 18 years since Mr Kyle came to this country from Australia, and during that period he has beeu engaged mainly in abattoir work. At the request of the Government Mr Kyle will remain in his present position till the end of the year.
