SHIPPING SPACE.

IMPROVED ARRANGEMENTS. SKIPS IN SIGHT. i [From Our Own Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, July 10. The Prime Minister announced in the House of Representatives to-night, with regard to the question of shipping, which had been causing much anxiety to producers, that arrangements had been made by which, between now and September, 17 insulated ships would come to New Zealand ports to load. (Applause.) Of course, members would understand that even 17 large ships would not carry away all the produce, but the arrangement would make it possible for the new season’s production to be carried on without difficulty. The outlook was better now than it had been for the past six months. These ships would average about luo,ooo carcases each. Ten sliips were coming between now and September, and six would follow, the intention of the people at Home being to have 17 ships loading in New Zealand.
