The Socialist, Progressive, Centre, and National Liberal leaders have adopted Herr Erzeberger’s peace formula and are submitting the following resolution to the Reichstag:— “Germany is determined to hold out to the very end to prevent any spoliation of its territory or any humiliation, but does not contemplate annexations or the humiliation of her enemies, but desires only peace securing Germany’s safety and economical development.” The meeting also insisted on the immediate introduction of a Parliamentary system. German Minority Socialists, in a manifesto announcing their views on peace demands, slate that a general disarmament is the sole means of destroying militarism.
