SHIPBUILDING SCHEME. NEW YARDS IN CANADA. Renter's Telegrams. OTTAWA, March 13. The establishment of an extensive shipbuilding industry in Canada for the British Government is announced. The Imperial Munitions Board has let contracts to the value of £5,000,000, to include steel ships of substantial tonnage. Ships now being built in the Norwegian interests will be taken over.
