EXCURSION TICKETS will be issued to Ashburton from Christchurcli, Tiniaru, Methven, and intermediate stations on the 14th March, and by trains arriving at Ashburton up to 1.43 p.m. on 15th March (except the 8.0 a.m. express train from Christchurch and 8.7 xm. Cliristchurcli-Ashburton train from Christchurcli, Addington, Hornby, Rolleston, and Dunsandcl). Ou 15th March a special passenger train Stopping at Addington, Hornby, Rolleston, Dunsandcl, Rakala, and Chertsey to pick up wilL- leave Christchurcli for Ashburton 9.30 a.m., Ashburton arrive 11.27 a.m., returning from Ashburton 1.50 p.m., arriving Christchurcli 7.5 p.m., stopping at the same stations to set down. Excursion tickets will not be available by the 8.0 a.m. express train from Christchurch nor from Christchurcli, Addington, Hornby, Rolleston, and Dunsandcl by 8.7 a.m*. Christchurch-Ashburton train nor from Ashburton by the express train leaving- Ashburton for Ghristchurch at 5.43 p.m. The :t.35 p.m. train Ashburton to Christchurch will NOT.run. It will leave Hawarden on return at 0.15 p.m. and arrive Christchurcli 9.11 p.m., stopping where required to set down passengers.
