A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
MONTHLY MEETING. The usual monthly meeting of the General Committee of the A. and P. Association "was held this afternoon, Mr C. H. Ensor presiding. There wore also present: Messrs J. Deans, R. W. Loehhead, W. B. Cunningham, J. jim., 11. Little, W. Henderson, W. T. Robinson, A. Chamberlain, 11. E. Pervitin, T. W. Adams, T. D. Boag, and T. C. Miehell. Accounts amounting to £224 17/6 were passed for payment. A motion of condolence with the relatives of the late Mr H. Murray-Ayns-Jcy was carried. The profound sense of loss felt by the association, with which lie had been connected for so long, was placed on the records. The Technical College's request for the usual yearly contribution of £3O was granted. Mr Loehhead reported that the Hon. G. \V. Russell, Minister of Internal Affairs, had consented to the sale of the Twigger leasehold section to the association, on condition that the total proceeds of the sale be invested in war debentures. In consequence of this condition, llic committee was unable to avail themselves of the Hospital Board's offer of a deposit of 10 per cent. first year and 30 per cent, second year, and balance on mortgage at 5 per cent. Arrangements were 'made to pay £350 from the association's funds, and a mortgage on the section of £IOOO had been obtained at 5i per cent. The report was adopted. (Proceeding.)
