EMPLOYMENT FOR SOLDIERS.
Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 12. Under the system instituted by the National Government employment has already been found for 1401 returned soldiers. It is satisfactory to note that 1339 men have notified the department that assistance is not required, and 2539 did not require assistance for other reasons. New Zealand's war pensions burden tiow amounts to £325,639 per annum, the average of the 6284 pensions being £sl.
