IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that the Christchurch City Council nt a meeting held on the 12th day of March, 1917, adopted the following resolution, viz.: "In pursuance of Section i"> of the Christ church City By-law No. 1, the Christ church City Council hereby resolves that the following by the area within which hawkers are prohibited 'from plying their trade: All that area commencing at a point on the east side of Manchester Street Bridge over the River Avon and thence southerly along the east side of Manchester Street to the north side of Cashrl Street, thence easterly along the north side of Cashel Street to the cast side of Madras Street; thence southerly along the east side of Ma dr»s Street to a point ill line with the south side of St. Asaph Street; thence westerly along the south side of St. Asaph Street to the east side of Manchester Street; thence southerly along the east side of Manchester Street continued to the south side of Moorhouse Avenue; thence westerly along the :,outli side of Moorhouse Avenue to the west side of Durham Street; thence northerly along the west side of Durham -Street to Oxford Ten ice and thence northerly along the west side of Oxford Terrace to the starting point.
