TRADE PROBLEMS.
A UNION DODGE. TO GRANT EXEMPTIONS. Australian and Ji.Z. Calle Association. LONDON, March 12. The Government has decided to lake immediate action to slop the abuse of trade cards, which trade unions have distributed to prospective members, thereby exempting them from military service. The membership of certain societies has greatly increased, hut the results are most unsatisfactory, and have led to quarrels between the unions, and also to the exemption of a great number of men who should be in the Army.
