THE RAILWAYS.
CONDITION OF ROLLING STOCK. COMMISSION OF INQUIRY. The Railway Rolling Stock Commission, which is inquiring into the condition of the railway rolling stock of the Dominion lesumed its sittings in Christchureh to-day. The commission comprises Professor R. J. Scott (chairman), Messrs M. J. Marchbanks, and J. P. Maxwell. Mr M. Myers appeared for the Railway Department. John Valintine said that on July 10, 1916, he saw Mr T. M. Wilford in his office, having gone there on private business. (Proceeding).
