ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
DEATH AT A FUNERAL. Press Association. PUNEDIN, March 10. A sensation was caused prior to the commencement of the burial service at the funeral of the late Hon. T. Parata, M.L.C., at Puketcraki, today, by the sudden death of the undertaker, Mr .lames Gourley. Death was due to a heart attack, to which he hail been subject. SAD FATALITY. DUNEDIN, March 10. Two children Mine Thomson, aged II years, and Russell Thomson, aged seven years—were drowned in a dam a.t Ross and Cleudining's factory at Kaikorai this afternoon. KILLED BY A FALL. WELLINGTON, March 12. John Ta* Craig, aged CB, formerly an employee of the Government Printing Office, fell out of an upstairs window at his residence at Northland yesterday, and was killed. It is believed that he had a, paralytie stroke while looking out of the window. He had been suffering ' from heart trouble. i '. i
