BIG WHEAT DEFICIT. CONFIDENCE IN GOVERNMENT,

The Chamber of Deputies by 29G Votes to one, expressed confidence in the Government, following a three days' debate on the question of food supplies. In the course of the debate, the Chairman of the Agricultural Committee said that experts estimated that in 1917 France's wheat deficit would be 120,000,000 bushels, and the deficit of overseas supplies for France, the Allies, and neutrals, was Estimated at 200,000,000 bushels.
