CROQUET.
The finals for the Akaroa Ladies' Croquet Tournament wore played off on Tuesday last at BlyHiclifie, the residence of the Mayor. Mrs Armstrong entertained the visitors with afternoon tea. The game was between Mrs E. E. Lelievre and Miss E. M. Jacobsrn, and resulted in Mrs Lelievre beating Miss Jacobson by four points. Miss Garforth was the winner of the other competition.
