At a meeting of the Sheffield Patriotic Committee, held last week, there was a good attendance. The president reported that Mr Neish would not accept any payment for ploughing the Memorial Reserve at Sheffield. He was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks. A meeting of the Committee of the Sheffield Tennis Club at. Air Mil lin's residence on Thursday last. when an invitation from the Papanui Tenuis Club, to play a return match on their court., on Kaster Monday, was accepted. It was decided to present the trophy, kindly given by Mrs McMillan and Mr (!. .1. Wright, to the winners of the late tournament, cm Saturday, March 17, on the court at Sheffield.
