LATE PERSONALS.
The parishioners of St. Mary's are making a presentation in the Art Gallery this evening to the Rev. Father Hoare, who was lately transferred to Lceston. An Invercargill telegram announces the death of Mr John Graham Gow, formerly Trade Commissioner, aged 67. Mr Gow had been living in -retirement at Winton for some years. A Press Association message from Dunedin states that Major Hiekey, D.5.0., has so far recovered from his illness as to be able to accept an appointment as A.Q.M.G. at Dunedin, in succession to Captain Fraser (who goes to Trentham, preliminary to going to the front.
