A French communique says:—The enemy is bombarding our positions round Monastir.
■* Fresh counter-attacks upon the Serbian position on the northern slopes of the Sokol succeeded in carrying a portion of the recently captured height. South of Seres the British cleared ' a Turkish trench and brought back prisoners.
