SHIPPING PROBLEM.
A GRAVE SITUATION
"The Times'' Service. LONDON; December 7. The incoming shipping in November, including vessels from the Dominions and neutral countries, show- * ed a decrease of 1,385,625 tons compared with the previous November. The tonnage for the past 11 months decreased bv 3,210,(100, and by 12,250,000 compared with the 1914
figures. The city editor of "The Times" comments that these figures strikingly reveal the gravity of the shipping problem.
