RED CROSS.

UPPER RICCARTON CONCERT. A concert, organised by Mr W. Lann, at l.'pper Riecarton, last Thursday evening, in aid of the local Bed Cross Fund, was generally voted one of the best held in the district. All the items were of an exceptionally high order. The singers were Madame Audibert, Miss Millicent -Jennings, .Mel Mi>s Cicely Audibert, and a qii: -tet from the Lcidertafel. consisting of Messrs Hollow, .1011. Beveridge. and Hawker. Mr Chas. Smith, the popular elocutionist, also assisted. The Rev. H. T. York presided. During the interval a valuable brass tray, presented by Mrs.l. Lunn, was auctioned by Mr W.
