The committee t'or ihc Christehurch j district, appointed last Wednesday to I consider disputes arising out of wool valuations in connection with the Government's purchase of the New Zealand clip, his received intimation that Mr William Nicholls, of Belfast, lias been appointed arbitrator for the district. Mr Nicholls enters upon his duties right away, and is now prepared to arbitrate on lots, the values of which may lie in dispute. The Minister of. Agriculture approves of the commit-! tee's suggestion that, the decision of the arbitrator shall be final. Furfhe: information to woolgrowers will be furnished by the committee at an early: date.
