FIRES.
The Fire Brigade turned out at 10.20 p.m. yesterday to 12 Stirling Street, where a two-storied house containing five rooms was found to be on fire. The building was gutted. It was owned by Mrs Seobbie, who used to reside at Sydenham, but who is now in the North Island. There were no insurances.
