SUBMARINE WAR.
VESSELS SUNK. SAILER SET ON FIRE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received December 8, 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, December 7. The Danish steamer Nexos and the Spanish steamer Julian Benito have been submarined and sunk, and a Swedish sailer set afire by a German submarine in the North Sea. The crews were rescued. WAR RISKS. ARMING MERCHANTMEN. "The Times' Service. (Received December 8, 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, December 7. Anti-war risks were effected on Wednesday on two British steamers subject to a warranty of their being armed.
