TO-DAY'S CASES. Mr If. W. Bishop, S.M.. sat at the Magistrate's Court to-day. EXPRESSIVE REMONSTRANCE. Charles McPherson admitted charges of drunkenness and of using obseene language. It was stated that the language had been used when the accused was re quested by the constable to enter a taxi on a joy ride to the police station. McPherson was convicted and fined £•" on the obscene language charge, in default one month's imprisonment. A conviction, without penalty, was imposed on the drunkenness charge. A SAD WEEK. "1 am very sorry," said Charles Weston, who admitted being drunk and committing a breach of a prohibition order. He was remanded for a week to cogitate on the result of his indulgence. A RESERVED JUDGMENT. In the case of Win. Todd (Mr Hunt: v. the New Zealand Rnbberair Company, Ltd. (Mr Alpers), a claim for £]*S 1.:/., reserved judgment was given for £lO4 17/n.
