LATE COMMERCIAL.
PROPERTY AUCTION. Messrs Pyne and Co. held a sole of property in their land saleroom to-day, on account of Mr Fleming, of Bulcalrn. ' His homestead block of 100 acres was passed at £24 per acre, and the adjoining block of <l2i acres was withdrawn at £23. I)ALGETY & COMPANY. A cablegram received by Dalgety and Co I Ail., Christehurch, from their London olllce, date November 25, states:—"Al the annua/ general meeting held on November 21! the shareholders confirmed the directors' recommendation of a dividend of i/-- per share, making with interim dividend 8 per cent, for the 12 months ended June :tO, also a bonus of 2/- per share. Half-year's dividend and bonus absorb £00,000; have written off profits £50,000 to reserve fund, making it £050,000, £IO,OOO off premises, £IO,OOO to benevolent fund, carrying forward £197,511. Dividend payable November 25."
