Showers again somewhat interfered with the postponed eight-hour demonstration, but there were large rallies of the unions and many excellent designs in the procession. Sports were held in the Agricultural Grounds and attracted great crowds.
N.S.W. PARLIAMENT. PROLONGATION OF TERM. (Received November 20, 9.-10 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 20. A largely-attended meeting in the Domain protested against the prolongation of the life of Parliament. The House of Assembly passed the Bill prolonging the term for 12 months.
