The j j letter also stated that the present week-: lend excursion tickets would meet the! | request for excursion fares to Christ- i . church on the day of the fete. A letter was received from the Departnient of Internal Affairs containing f a form of application for permission to' hold rattles in connection with the fete. I j Mr P. C. Raphael wrote, stating the i i Woolston Band was prepared to provide music during the afternoon, from I! to s (5 p.m., for which no charge would bo! j made. The letter suggested that the I committee should make a donation to j I the band funds. The matter was left I in the hands of the chairman.
