ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
"THE GLOBE OF DEATH. A very thrilling and sensational showis provided by the Staigs in their "Globe of Death" entertainment. A huge globe, something like a big circular iron cage, is the "globe,'-' and inside this various thrilling feats are performed by Miss Staig and her brother on a motor cycle. The lady takes her seat on the cycle, and, at the word "go," whirls round and round the globe at a terrific, pace horizontally, while the spectators catch their breath and watch her with the fascination of terror. An even more wonderful feat is provided by a male member of the company, who actually "loops the loop" from the top to the bottom of the "globe, not once, but fully half-a-dozen times. Lovers of daring feats ami thrills should not fail to see the Staigs. FOOT TRODDEN ON BY A HORSE. A man named T. 11. Philpott, of Picton Avenue, was admitted to the.
