New Zealand lamb o'd, Argentine lamb Byd. There is very little New Zealand ox beef on the market, and only inferior riualitv is available. New Zealand ox beef: Hinds 7]d, lores C,(-1. Argentine chilled beef: Hinds Sd, fores 7<d. Butter.- The market continues firm. Danish (owing to small supplies prices are firmer I, 21!.'- to 218/- per ewt; Irish creamcry (small supplies), salted 10(i/- to 200/-, unsallcd 200/- to 201 '-; Canadian, salted 100/- to 108/-; New Zealand (soot market bare), sailed 200/- to 201/-, good fine quality (salted) 101 - to 198/-; Argentine, salted 108,'-, Hiisalted 108/- to 2110/-; American creamery, salted 180 '- to 100/-. Cheese- The market has had a firm tone since last report. Canadian, while 111 - to 110/-, coloured 111-'- to 110/-; English Cheddar 121'- to 130/-; New Zealand (no official quotations), nominal quotations), white 113/- to 111/-; United Slates flats, while 112/- to 113 -. The estimated Canadian and United States cheese stocks in London, Liverpool, and Bristol are 200,000 boxes, as against 275,000 boxes at the same time last year. The estimated New Zealand cheese stocks in Loudon and Bristol are (mutilated word here) crates, as against 3100 at the same lime last year. Hemp.- The market is (inn. but unsettled, and too speculative. Ouotations are nominal. Good lair New Zealand hemp £53 per ton, fair £sl; Government-graded failManila £sl 111-, coarse tal 1(1/-, January to March shipment good fair New Zealand £52, fair £SO; Government-graded fair Manila £53 10/-, coarse £SO 10/-. The output of hemp from Manila for the week ended last Saturday was 17,00*1 hales. Wheat.- The market is rather unsettled, on ncccounl of Government control, and prices have advanced since telegraphing you. Quotations are nominal. Canadian 83/-, ex store; Australian 80/-: New Zealand 70/-.
