LONDON, October 3
Lord Brycc, addressing the Congregational Union, said we might he compelled lo impose severe terms on flic enemy, but he urged the repression of passion, and deprecated a trade war, because of the immense opportunities for mischief.
The chief consideration in the peace terms should be a durable peace.
