NORWAY SUFFERS. LOSS OF STEAMERS. Australian and V Z. Cahlt AiuoHailon. CHRISTIANIA, October 3. The torpedoing of five Norwegian steamers to-day has inereased the bitterness against Germany. The newspapers demand the more stringent closing of territorial waters against submarines.

Or Dernberg, in an article in the "Berliner Tageblatt/' hints at a renewal of the submarine policy and says he hopes that America will take a reasonable view of the matter if Germany is compelled to renew this policy of ruthless action in order to force England to make peace. I)r Dernberg says that it was largely to please America that submarine warfare was renounced.
