THEFT OF TEA.
THREE MEN ARRESTED
Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 2~>. Three men bave been arrested in connection with the theft of tea, valued at over £2OO, from L. I>. Nathan's tea department. One of the firm's employees arrived earlier than usual, and found a cart on which tbe tea, in cases, was being loaded by another of the linn's employees. There were already 20 cases on 'the cart.
The police were summoned, and, as the result of inquiries, proceeded to a shop in Khyber Pass Bond, where they arrested Arthur Kdward Bray (storeman) and <ieo. Harold Itenwick (carter), who were charged with theft, and Kdmond Thompson (grocer), who was charged with receiving stolen goods. The accused were before the court today, and were remanded.
