MAIREHAU.
The residents of Maireliau have been trying <o raise money for patriotic purposes, and also for furnishing the hall. During the week a progressive euchre parly and dance was held, and this turned out a great success financially and otherwise. The ladies' euchre prize was won by Miss Hanlon, and the gentlemen's by Mr E. Briggs. The commit! ■" have decided to run these parties every fortnight, commencing from next Thursday, and special prizes are to lie given.
