DAMAGE IN JAMAICA. By Cable. — Press Association.—Copyright. KINGSTON, August 17. A cyclone swept the southern portion of Jamaica, but it is bc--1 lieved the northern part escaped. The banana crops principally suffered. Kingston has been cut off . from outside communication. Some deaths were caused by the hurriG cane.
