WOMEN AND THRIFT.
A discussiou on thrift took place at a meeting of women at Government House, states the Sydney correspondent of the " Argus."' Mrs Hugh Pick son expressed the opinion that women should wear pretty clothes aud make the homes bright and attractive for their husbands. Resolutions were passed in favour of establishing classes of domestic econ« orny, and, if possible, preventing the use of imported cereals.
