PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Spreydon Borough Council, at a Special Meeting, to be held at 8 p.m. on the 2nd AUGUST, 1916, in the | Spreydon Borough Council Chambers. A Hospital and Charitable Aid Bate of Thirteen Sixty fourths (13 64th) of a Penny in the £ on the Capital Value of all Rateable Properties in the Borough of Spreydon. 5. A Uniform Annual Fee for Sanitation purposes of Fourteen and Threepence (14/3) i for each and every Pan per house served 1 in the Sanitation Area of the Borough of Spreydon. 6. A Tramway Bate of Three fifths (3-Mb) of a Penny in the £ on the Capital Value jof all Rateable Properties in the Special ! Hackthorne Road Tramway Area of the . Borough of Spreydon. 7. A Special Rate (on the £21,950 Public I Works Loan) of One Penny and One-six- | teenth (1 l-16th) in the £ on the Unimproved j Value of all Rateable Properties in the No. j 1 Loan Area of the Borough of Spreydon. 8. A Special Rate (on the £4725 Public Works Loan) of Twopence and One-six-teenth (2116 th) In the £ on the Unimproved Value of all Rateable Properties in such Loan Area of the Borough of Spreydon. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of The Waimakariri-Ashley Water Supply Board, held on the 25th day of May, 1916, it was Resolved that The Wai-makariri-Ashley Water Supply Board should, by way of Special Order, MAKE a BY-LAW under "The Water Supply Act, 1908," "The Counties Act, 1908," and Amendments of such Acts respectively. The Short Title of the said By-law is "The Brown's Rock Sub-division By-law, 1916," and the object and purport thereof arc to provide for the terms and conditions of which "The Brown's Rock Supply Race" as therein defined may be used and upon which water may be supplied therefrom; also the Rates and Charges to be paid for water supplied from such water-race, and the areas of land which shall be liable to such Rates and Charges. And for Repealing the whole of the Bylaw made by The Waimakariri-Ashley Water Supply Board on the 13th day of April, 1899, relating to the said Brown's Bock Subdivision. And it is Hereby Further Publicly Notified that the said Resolution will be SUBMITTED for CONFIBMATION at a SPECIAL MEETING of The Waimakarlri - Ashley Water Supply Board on the 27th day of JULY, 1916, at half-past 2 o'clock p.m., at which Meeting the day of the coming into force of the By-law will be fixed. A Copy of the proposed Special Order and By-law will be Open for Public Inspection at the Office of the Board at OxXord from the date hereof until the said confirming Meeting is held. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with the Counties Act, 1908, Sections 117 and rlB, and the Rating Act, 1908, Sections 48 to 51 (inclusive) and 70, that it is the intention of the Eyre County Council, at its next Ordinary Meeting, to be held on MONDAY, August 7, 1916, to MAKE and LEVY a GENERAL RATE of a Half-penny in the £ on the Capital Value of the Rateable Property in the Eyre County. Such Rate to be for the period commencing on April 1, 1916, and ending on March 31, 1917. The said Rate to be DUE and PAYABLE in one sum on AUGUST 30, 1916, at the Office, Ohoka, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Rate Books are now Open for Inspection at the Ofilce, Ohoka.
